Bay is ar coat color of horses which is characterized by a reddish brown body color with a black mane, tail and lower legs and sometimes on the tip of the ears. (these areas are called 'black points'). It is one of the most common coat colors in many horse breeds. Bay horses normally have black skin under theirr coat, except beneath white markings.
